1. Introduction

Refresh Global Logistics, LLC (“Refresh Global Logistics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides domestic and international freight forwarding, ocean and air freight, customs compliance, and related logistics services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at refreshgloballogistics.com (the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights available to you. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy.

2. Who We Are

Refresh Global Logistics, LLC is headquartered at:
10629 Hardin Valley Rd, Ste 251
Knoxville, TN 37932, USA

For purposes of applicable privacy laws, Refresh Global Logistics, LLC is the “controller” (or “business,” as that term is used under certain U.S. state privacy laws) responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and, occasionally, information we receive from third parties (for example, a company that submits a quote request on your behalf).

4. Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you choose to submit through the Site’s forms, including:

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Contact form: your first and last name, email address, the topic of your message, and your message content.
  • Quote requests (Air Freight, Ocean FCL, Ocean LCL, Compliance Services, and Value-Added Services): your company name, contact name, email address, and, depending on the service selected, your phone number and shipment details such as pickup and delivery locations, dates, package dimensions and weight, quantity, commodity description, and any special instructions you choose to provide.

The Site does not require you to create an account or log in, and we do not collect payment card information through the Site.

5. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring and exit pages, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected in standard server logs rather than through persistent tracking cookies.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

As of the date of this Policy, the Site does not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling, and does not deploy any third-party advertising pixels. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy to describe the categories of cookies used, their purpose, and how you can manage your preferences.

7. Analytics

The Site does not currently use third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) or third-party marketing or tracking pixels. Should we adopt such tools in the future, this Policy will be updated before those tools are deployed.

8. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form;
  • Prepare and provide the freight, shipping, or service quotes you request;
  • Send newsletter communications to subscribers who opt in, and allow subscribers to unsubscribe at any time;
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful activity; and
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including recordkeeping obligations applicable to freight forwarders and customs intermediaries.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use information collected through the Site’s forms for third-party advertising purposes.

9. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal information on the following legal bases, as applicable: (a) your consent, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter; (b) the necessity of processing to take steps you request prior to entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you, such as preparing a shipping quote you requested; (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and responding to business inquiries, provided those interests are not overridden by your data protection interests; and (d) compliance with a legal obligation, where applicable.

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, described in Section 11;
  • Professional advisors (such as attorneys, accountants, or insurers) where necessary for legitimate business purposes;
  • Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others; and
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of company assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

11. Service Providers

We use the following categories of third-party service providers to operate the Site and deliver form submissions:

  • Email delivery:submissions from the contact, newsletter, and quote-request forms are transmitted via Resend, a transactional email service, to our internal team’s inbox for review and response. Resend processes this information solely to deliver these messages on our behalf.
  • Hosting and infrastructure:the Site is hosted on Vercel’s infrastructure, which may log standard web request data as described in Section 5.

These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are contractually or otherwise obligated to protect it.

12. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process and store information on servers located in the United States or other countries in which they or their sub-processors operate. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards made available by our service providers, which may include standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected – for example, to respond to your inquiry, prepare a requested quote, or maintain records required by applicable freight forwarding, customs, or tax recordkeeping obligations – after which it is deleted or de-identified.

14. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS) for data submitted through the Site and restricting access to submitted information to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and subject to applicable thresholds and exemptions, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • U.S. State Privacy Laws: residents of certain states (including, among others, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have the right to know or access the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion of that information, opt out of certain processing (such as targeted advertising or the sale of personal information, neither of which we currently engage in), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
  • EEA/UK/Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR): if applicable to you, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 19. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

16. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

17. Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including government resources, industry tools, and external service portals, that are not owned or controlled by Refresh Global Logistics. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party site before providing information to it.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected by posting the updated Policy on this page.
